And the other one is gone!!

YES THATS RIGHT, WE ARE TOOTHLESS!!!

Tamara lost the other front tooth yesterday morning, and had another nice visit from the tooth fairy :) :) We are now one gummy child (so no photo yet).

It was another panic attack when we saw the blood and the missing tooth, but soon calmed down.

She also received a participation award and an Excellance award for her Jazz. The Excellance award is only given to one child per class and this year it was my baby girl :) :)

School is going great, settled in quite nicely as far as i can tell, we havent said we dont want to go yet lol. Daniel has already started on the no homework route.... until i discovered homework in his bag THIS MORNING, that he was suppose to do LAST NIGHT!!! And has been banging it on with his home readers, is on level 18 and has been grabbing level 12 books! Swift kick up the bum this kid needs ;)

Tooth Fairy Visit.

Yesterday afternoon Tamara was playing with her 2 brothers when the playing got a bit rough. Low and behold she head butted Daniels head and out fell a tooth. Her FRONT TOP one!! Not as bad as it seems originally though, as we were due for it to fall out as it was hanging by a thread, Daniel kindly gave it a helping hand ;).

there were a few moments of panic, as we had lots of blood and poor Tamara wasn't sure if she was going to get another one lol. But once we were cleaned up and calmed down, we were excited that the tooth fairy would make a lovely visit!!

And she did, lucky girl received $2 for her loss tooth, which we are taking to school tomorrow to spend there ;).

The other front tooth, was knocked loose as well (was started to loosen up, also given a helping hand lol) is now JUST hanging on, so wont be long till that falls out either i don't think. Looks like we might be toothless for our kindy photo :)

photo to come.

Been awhile

Sorry for the lack of posting in the last week. But it has been a busy as well as tiring week.

Monday was full up with getting ready for school the next day!!! Uniforms were ironed and hang up, bags were half packed and talk about school was the topic of the day.

Tuesday was starting day for Daniel. 2007 saw him go into Year 2

It only seems like yesterday that this little boy was starting Kindergarten. He had a fantastic first day, coming home excited that he got Mrs Spencer and had gotten all his work correct for the day. And yes we were going to go back tomorrow.

Wednesday was my baby girls day. She was off to KINDERGARTEN!!!

Im not sure who was more nervous Tamara or myself lol. Thankfully i was able to leave my 2 youngest home with their dad, so that made life a little easier.

We arrived at the school at about 8.50am. Bell rang and Daniel took himself off to his class room, whilst we waited around to see what class Mara was off to.

Mum started to get a little worried when she started to hear talk of a time slot for each child!!!! She hadn't received any word regarding this matter!!! So did the sensible thing and asked another parent what was this time slot. Apparently the school had sent letters out stating what time your child was to get to the school and what time they would be taken up to their classroom!!! For some strange reason, we were missed lol.

Wasn't much room for concern though, as Tamara's Buddy (a year 3 student) found us and took us up to her classroom and introduced us to her Teacher Miss Cambourne, who had taught year 4 students the year earlier.

A name tag was placed on Tamara's dress and her photo taken and she went and sat down at the lego table and started building. After 10mins, i asked her if she wanted me to go and i got a definite Yes and a bye. So off i went. Gee i was relieved that there were no tears from her.

The day went quite fast and before we knew it, it was 2.30 and we had to go and collect both Daniel and Tamara. Tamara was first pick up!! And from what i can gather she had a FANTASTIC DAY and wanted to go back lol. And then Daniel was not far away, who also had a fantastic day!

The transition to big school, has gone pretty smoothly I think. We had 1 incident yesterday, when Tamara told me she didn't want to go today, but walked off to her class and was fine when i picked her up in the afternoon.

Today marks the end of their first week back at school, and I'm sure they are looking forward to the Weekend as much as I am, as, as much as the drive me insane with their bickering etc. I do thoroughly miss them!!!
